I am currently working with a prominent North American banking institution, boasting a global presence, working on both traditional banking as well as capital markets.

Commanding significant market share across diverse financial service segments, the bank actively invests in technology and innovation to elevate customer experience and maintain its leading position in the digital banking space. This pioneering market-making team, situated in Toronto, seeks to grow with the addition of a Software Developer.

Below is an overview of the role:

Role: Software Developer

Brief: Looking for an avid developer - enthusiastic about software engineering with at least a year enterprise level work experience. Python experience essential, C++ and Java are a bonus. Knowledge of data structure essential with a keen interest in Trading desirable - looking for someone who would want to grow into a Quant Trading role.

Location: Toronto (Hybrid)

Salary: Competitive salary + bonus

Qualifications:

Technology or science degree

At least a year enterprise level work experience

Experience in the following: Python, Git, Linux, SQL ß

Need to have knowledge of Data structure

Keen interest in trading

Bonuses: C++, Java
