Qualifications:
BSEE, MSEE, RF Engineering, 5-10 years industry experience
Experience working in medical equipment industry, imaging or ultrasound equipment, high-frequency ultrasound equipment desirable
3-5 years experience designing RF Analog circuitry and systems
Hands on experience using Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzer, Function Generator, Low-Noise Amplifier, Power Meter, Transducers, ADCs/DACs, Beamforming Circuitry
Familiarity with RF simulation tools (such as CST Microwave Studio or HFSS) is a plus.
Experience with FPGAs, PIC Microcontrollers helpful
Must be hands-on in design, prototyping, test, troubleshooting, soldering, general R&D laboratory activities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:
Analyze and understand full system requirements.
As required, do schematic capture, PCB layout, BoM development, and DFM reviews in coordination with the vendors.
Working on EMI issues including developing improved printed circuit boards with best practice EMI rules, shielding, debugging, testing and solving them.
Designing and simulating RF functions and RF interfaces.
Manage individual system components including procurement and testing of boards, enclosures, antennas, cables, and other hardware in coordination with other team members and vendors.
Develop an overall schedule and build plan in coordination with other team members.
Design a phased hardware test plan aligned with development roadmap and the customerâ s expectations
