Assistant Sales Manager - Korea Market

The Assistant Sales Manager is to demonstrate a thorough understanding and competence in sales, account management functions and the business travel industry focus in Korea and Asia markets.

The core responsibilities are to negotiate favorable rates with potential clients/organizations and then through proactive selling and data management drive strategic growth of such accounts while maintaining world class customer service.

Additional responsibilities include selling guestrooms and all hotel services to customers including but not limited to corporate accounts, travel agencies, individual travel and wholesale groups.

Duties include managing current and develop new accounts, may include travel to major cities within market and client entertaining on or off property.

Duties also include preparing and presenting effective proposals, presentations, maintaining well organized documentation and reports.

Utilization of Hyatt technology systems and coordination of customer service requirements with hotel operations Team as appropriate.

Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.

Minimum 3 years work experience of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred.

Proficiency in English and Korea plus Chinese will be seen as an advantage

Prefer selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
