Tax Manager - Real Estate Fund

Vested Search are excited to partner with an internationally established real estate investment fund who are looking to hire a Tax Manager into their New York office, leading a range of workstreams for corporate and compliance tax management across their business internationally

This is a newly created role that will work directly with the Group Head of Tax in the parent business and CFO of the Real Estate business within the United States

Responsibilities include:

Close collaboration with real estate investment finance and legal teams on efficient tax structuring of funds, to include tax modeling and reporting to local and foreign investors

Deal structure due diligence process in tax, working closely with legal and investment teams

Tax compliance process management for all real estate funds in the US and internationally, close alignment with outsourced service providers on delivery on these

Advising investment and deal teams on transactions, restructures and portfolio company operations from a tax perspective

Direct support to finance and compliance teams on REIT taxation and wider tax sensitive structures

Tax policy and international tax management

Individuals should have a strong background in tax within the real estate industry, to come from a public accounting or commercial background
