Paint and Final Assembly Systems (PFS): Paint shops and final assembly systems for the automotive industry
Application Technology (APT): Robot technology for the automated application of paint, sealants and adhesives
Clean Technology Systems (CTS): Exhaust-air purification systems, energy efficiency technology, industrial dryers, coaters and precipitators
Measuring and Process Systems: Balancing as well as assembly, testing and filling technology
Woodworking Machinery and Systems (HOMAG): Machinery and equipment for the woodworking the industry
Location: Southfield, MI, or De Pere, Wisconsin
Position Summary:
This ideal candidate for this role has mechanical and electrical aptitude and is comfortable troubleshooting and problem-solving issues on industrial equipment. The successful candidate will be capable of translating those solutions into Sales opportunities.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Experience in an Industrial Sales Role with individual Sales Dollar Goals.
Previous experience in roles requiring technical (mechanical and electrical) problem solving aptitude.
Experience selling technical products or previous work experience in technical positions or a degree in a technical field.
Experience working on electrical controls (PLCs) for large equipment.
Past field experience working in plant production environments and/or around large equipment, particularly in a service, maintenance, or operations role.
Ability to develop sales strategies individualized to the customer and their needs.
Ability to understand corporate guidelines and negotiate projects and manage customers within approved corporate guidelines

Ability to travel at least 25% and up to 50% of the time
Creative, resourceful, problem solver
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Understanding of business concepts and issues including working within a corporate structure
Must have a high degree of influencing skills and be able to apply those skills at multiple levels inside and outside of the company
Position must be located near a major airport in US or De Pere, WI or Southfield, MI
Occasional travel to home office
