Job Description

Southern Pride Custom Cabinets is seeking a skilled Cabinet Production Specialist /Installer

Job Responsibilities/Description:

Ideal candidate must be able to work in a team environment where cross training is encouraged and desired

Job entails operation of woodworking, finishing machinery, various lacquer /paint products and commitment to following safe operation practices

Applicant must have experience operating or be willing to learn how to operate some of the tools listed, but not necessarily all the tools listed: Includes operation of power saws, routers, pneumatic fasteners, power drills, sanders,finish spraying equipment, operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) equipment and other tools used in woodworking and cabinetry making

Ability to read a tape measure and other measuring devices is required

Job entails assembly, delivery and installation of cabinets as required

Performs other minor duties as assigned and related to position and team goals

Job Requirements:

HSD or GED equivalent; AS degree/certificate/certifications a plus

Experience in woodworking, cabinet building required; installing experience a plus

Ability to operate state of the art computer numerically controlled (CNC) equipment, experience a plus

Must be able to read prints and shop drawings

Dependability and attention to detail and follow through is crucial

Must be able to lift (above 70lbs), bend and work on your feet for extended periods of time

Must provide own transportation and valid driver's license

Must pass pre-employment drug test and have clean background record

Full time position ( typically M-Th- based on business demand), with competitive optional benefits; pay is commensurate with experience

Note: May consider seasonal, contract, Co-op work considered based on experience and need of company at time.
