Overview:

Supply Chain Management Consulting, LLC is a leading consulting firm in the aviation & Aerospace Industry, specializing in optimizing manufacturing processes. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will analyze and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and operations to optimize manufacturing processes

Develop and implement strategies to reduce production costs and improve productivity

Conduct process simulations, time studies, and capacity analysis to identify areas for improvement

Design, develop, and improve manufacturing methods, tools, and equipment

Use statistical analysis and process control techniques to monitor and validate manufacturing process performance

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all manufacturing processes

Train and mentor production operators on new tools, equipment, and processes

Participate in the development and execution of continuous improvement initiatives

Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for corrective actions

Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to optimize the supply chain and improve quality and delivery performance

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering within the Aviation & Aerospace industry

Proficiency in process simulation software such as Arena, Matlab, or SIMUL8

Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and tools

knowledge of industry-specific quality standards and regulations (e.g., AS9100, ISO9001)

Familiarity with statistical analysis and process control techniques

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Experience with project management and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma)

Proven track record of driving process optimization and cost-reduction initiatives

Ability to travel to client sites as needed

Pay: $85,000.00 - $113,000.00 per year
