Supply Chain Management Consulting, LLC is a leading consulting firm in the Aerospace & Defense industry, specializing in optimizing manufacturing processes. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Manufacturing Administrator to join our team. As a Manufacturing Administrator, you will provide administrative support to the manufacturing department and assist in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain manufacturing-related documentation, such as work orders, production reports, and quality records

Coordinate and schedule meetings, training sessions, and other manufacturing-related events

Assist in the preparation and monitoring of production schedules and capacity planning

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources

Monitor and maintain inventory levels of manufacturing supplies and materials

Assist in the implementation of manufacturing process improvements and initiatives

Collect and compile data for manufacturing performance metrics and reports

Conduct data entry and maintain databases related to manufacturing processes

Identify and report any issues or concerns related to manufacturing processes to management

Provide general administrative support to the manufacturing department as needed

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and terminology

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong organizational and time management skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Basic problem-solving skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Experience with inventory management systems is a plus

Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) is a plus
