Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and review complex federal and state income tax returns for the organization, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.

2. Conduct thorough research on complex tax issues and provide appropriate solutions.

3. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.

4. Manage the preparation and review of quarterly and annual tax projections and estimates.

5. Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain financial records and ensure data accuracy.

6. Liaise with tax authorities and provide tax audit support as needed.

7. Stay abreast of current developments in federal and state tax laws to ensure the organization's compliance and to capitalize on tax incentives.

8. Assist in the development of tax policies and procedures, and ensure that the organization adheres to professional standards and to federal and state regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA is a plus.

2. Minimum of two years of tax experience

3. Knowledge of federal and state tax codes, regulations, and case laws.
