KVC Missouri - Niles Residential
Location: Kansas City, MO
Expressive Arts and Substance Abuse Program Manager is responsible for the coordination of substance use services for KVC Missouri programs, and business aspects of the Substance Abuse/Expressive Arts Services. The Program Manager will build and maintain positive and productive relationships with clients, staff, and community partners. Oversee substance use serices to improve the quality of life and outcomes.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM
Education:
Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Art Therapy, Music therapy, Counseling, Marriage and Family
Therapy (MFT), Social Work (MSW), or Psychology.
Licensure/Certification:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor
(LPC).
Expressive therapist Must be Certified or Registered as an Art, Music or Recreational Therapist. Must be MAADCII
certified or willing to be.
Additionally, a valid driver’s license and auto insurance is required.
Experience:
Minimum of three years’ experience in providing individual, family and group therapy to youth.
Requires Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook email
Preferred Experience/Skills:
Communicates effectively in verbal and written form. Knowledge of mental health diagnosis helpful. Must be able to build
relationships and sustain those relationships. Must be highly organized and accountable.
Supervisory Experience: Preferred but not required.
