The Vice President of Manufacturing is a strategic position responsible for executing the company's vision and mission, whose main task is to ensure the smooth management of the entire operations, growth, and long-term business continuity of the company. This role requires a strong strategic vision and the ability to formulate and implement effective strategies to maintain and enhance operational performance. The key to performing this role is having sharp vision, strong leadership that inspire operational excellence, providing clear direction, and ensuring that every operational function contributes maximally to achieving the company's goals and the set business performance targets through operational efficiency and effectiveness.

On a global business scale, there is a need for focus to maintain and enhance the company's competitiveness by building strong differentiation strategies, flexibility, innovation, efficiency, productivity, and maintaining strong relationships with buyers in a dynamic business environment.

Main Responsibilities

Strategic Management & Leadership

Developing and formulating long-term and short-term strategic policy plans for company business operations, by setting clear goals and strategies to achieve them.

Strategically communicating the vision and mission set by the Board of Directors to the entire management team to ensure consistency in achieving goals.

Formulating a comprehensive operational strategy to maintain the company's competitive position in global business and capture new growth opportunities.

Drive continuous improvement and ensuring achievement of highest quality in production process and finished products.

Building a strong organizational work culture that encourages innovation, collaboration, and high performance.

Making strategic business decisions using data and in-depth analysis of market trends, industry competition, and internal company factors.

Evaluating risks and opportunities related to strategic decisions, as well as taking appropriate action to minimize risks and capitalize on opportunities.

Designing and implementing effective business strategies to expand and enhance the scale of cooperation with buyers.

Undertaking significant organizational change initiatives including organizational restructuring, digital transformation, and acquisitions to improve efficiency and company performance.

Keeping up with current trends and developments in the apparel industry, including regulatory changes, technology innovations, and changes in consumer behavior, to identify potential opportunities and threats for the company.

Formulate and manage business Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) policies and ensuring the implementation of these policies to achieve corporate ESG goals.

Formulate and ensure the implementation of business compliance strategy with regulations, industry standards, and buyer standards for the apparel manufacturing sector.

Operations Management

Leading and managing the entire operational process of apparel manufacturing in the company.

Ensuring operational efficiency across all production facilities by monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to improve productivity and quality.

Developing and implementing new processes and systems to enhance efficiency and minimize operational costs.

Promoting an innovative, collaborative, and results-oriented company culture based on systematic approach through effective communication and strong employee development program.

Identifying and addressing organizational barriers that may impede positive change and growth.

Business Development

Continuously conducting the process of identifying challenges and new growth opportunities, such as through the development of new products in line with market trends.

Strengthening flexibility based on high competency levels that can meet the expectations of the market or buyers.

Creating business breakthroughs with acquisitions or business collaborations with companies that have potential for growth.

Business Relationship and Customer Satisfaction

Build and maintain strategic relationships with buyers to ensure buyer satisfaction.

Build strategic relationships with buyers to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships and long-term business sustainability.

Identify potential new business collaborations that can support the company's long-term business objectives.

Financial Management

Manage the budget well to ensure the sustainability of operations and business growth.

Monitor financial performance regularly and take corrective action if needed to ensure the achievement of financial targets.

Responsible for the profit and loss of manufacturing operations.

Qualifications and Competencies

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field such as Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing Engineering, Business Management, or Business Administration.

A minimum of 15 years of solid experience in the garment business at the top management level, including adequate experience in strategic decision-making and effective team leadership.

Ability to develop and implement effective business strategies, with a focus on growth and advancement of the company.

Expertise in financial management, market analysis, and a strong understanding of trends and dynamics in the garment industry in detail.

Possesses detailed competence and experience in garment business operations which include process standards, technology, and systems.

High communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.

A strong commitment to integrity, ethics, and compliance with high business standards.

Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve outstanding results.

Competence and knowledge in ESG management system in the context of large manufacturing operations.
