Summary

The ideal candidate will be carrying out following responsibilities and work as a Senior Instrumentation Designer. This position is open for Bangalore/Chennai location.

Responsibilities

Instrument/JB Modelling – SP3D or PDS.

Cable Tray modeling including tray supports – SP3D or PDS.

Trench and Duct Bank routing – SP3D or PDS.

Preparation of Electronic Instrument Layout.

Preparation of Pneumatic Layout.

Preparation of main cable tray routing layout.

2D extraction from 3D model.

Wiring setup in SPI-INTools for instruments and control/safety systems.

Loop Diagram and Termination diagram in SPI.

Instrument segment diagrams (Foundation Fieldbus).

Instrument installation drawing.

Junction box schedule, cable schedule, drum schedule.

Control room cable routing and equipment layout.

Cable book diagram.

Bulk MTO (Cables, junction boxes, and hook-up items).

Hookup assignments is SPI and drawing generation.

Technical Skills & Requirements

A recognized degree/diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering

Minimum 10 years of experience in Instrumentation design, either 2D/3D model, wiring and hook-up activities

SP3D (Equipment/ Cable way/ Drawing Console)

Smart Plant Review (SPR)

SPI-INTools (Index/ Wiring/ Look / Hook-up/ Modules, Document Binder, Browser and EDE)

Familiar with ASME, API, ISA and other industry related standards

AutoCad, MicroStation, PDS, PDMS, Navisworks, Microsoft office.

Shall be organized, motivated and a team worker.
