PRODUCT & SERVICE TRAINER -

This role will support the development of a wide range of staff employed within the Hotel function of the Carnival Corporation & plc Operating Companies (Brands) managed by CSSI. Accurate identification of training needs and the ability to conceptualize, develop and deliver engaging training programs is a primary requirement.

Main Activities & Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with Carnival Corporation's CSSI-managed cruise ship brands to design, develop, and deliver training programs for onboard Hotel staff at CSSI’s partner training provider facilities.

2. Cultivate strong relationships with Training managers, Training teams, and crew members across various brands to ensure alignment and maximum impact of training initiatives.

3. Identify and communicate potential training development needs within the business functions.

4. Deliver specific training interventions as directed by the Head of Crew Lifecycle Business Processes & Operations, ensuring quality and relevance to CSSI onshore staff

5. Champion a consistent and effective approach to Hotel Training standards across the Fleet.

6. Provide guidance and support to Fleet Training teams on development options and solutions.

7. Create modular training solutions tailored to specific business needs, fostering engagement and skill development.

8. Support managers in applying training solutions effectively, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.

9. Manage training resources within budget constraints, identifying cost efficiencies where possible.

10. Maintain accurate training records and utilize Learning Management Systems for efficient tracking and reporting.

11. Ensure a customer-centered approach and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

12. Adhere to Carnival Corporate Policies and Procedures, including safety protocols and compliance requirements.

13. Undertake ad hoc duties, training projects, and new initiatives as required to support organizational goals

14. Flexibility to travel to ships and overseas training centres, with occasional weekend work as needed.

15. Continuously strive for personal and professional development, participating in annual trainer observations and staying updated on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Degree in Hospitality or relevant field.

2. Min. 2 years of training delivery experience in the Hotel / Cruise sector, including e-learning solutions.

3. Familiarity with competency frameworks, development tools, and remote training techniques.

4. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

5. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Learning Management Systems, and training recording tools.

7. Commitment to continuous learning, self-improvement, and maintaining professional standards.

8. Flexibility to work within office hours and travel as required.
