Program Manager

Responsibilities

Coordinating with all stakeholders for setting up a university, including but not limited to the following:

Develop a comprehensive roadmap to setup a university, outlining key milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.

Conduct feasibility studies and market analysis to identify academic programs and competitive positioning.

Collaborate with senior management to define the mission, vision, and values of the university.

Lead cross-functional teams responsible for different aspects of the setup, including academic affairs, administration, finance, human resources, and facilities management.

Monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep the setup on track.

Develop budgets and resource allocation plans for the setup phase, including funding for infrastructure development, staffing, technology, and marketing.

Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure necessary resources within budget constraints. Optimize resource utilization to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Navigate legal and regulatory requirements governing the establishment and operation of a university, including licensure, accreditation, taxation, and reporting obligations.

Work closely with legal counsel and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary approvals and maintain compliance throughout the setup process.

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, accrediting bodies, industry partners, and community organizations.

Develop policies, procedures, and systems to support the day-to-day operations of the university, including academic governance, student services, admissions, finance, and IT.

Coordinate with the lawyers for the documentation process.

Preparation of internal presentations, excel financial models for the management.

Qualifications

MBA or CA with experience in end to end university set up

Strong communication, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
