Structural Design Engineer
Description:
Experienced Bridges Technician will be responsible to coordinate with the Structural Design Engineer and produce the Structural Design models and drawings in different platforms such as Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or any other drafting software.
Experience in preparing structural detailed design drawings for various type of bridge structures for different phases of projects (Concept to Commissioning)
Assist BIM manager in developing and enforcing BIM documentation and workflow process standards.
Develop families for bridge and other structural components as needed.
Provide technical trainings to junior technicians and support/assist where needed.
Ability to work independently on small projects and guide team of technician in case of large projects.
Shall be Responsible for coordination with other discipline technicians involved in the project.
Track the progress and ensure the project is within budget based on agreed baseline.
Setup REVIT and CAD standards as applicable in discussion with clients
Create drawing sheets from REVIT 3D Model.
Reinforcement Detailing either 2D or 3D platform based on project requirements.
Quality control during drawing production and adherence to company Quality requirements during project lifecycle
Evaluate, follow-up, arrange meetings to discuss and record request for information. Provide clarity to the team and ensure availability of sufficient information for the working.
Sufficient and relevant experience in drafting and RC detailing of bridges, Culverts, Viaducts and other highway structures.
Experience in computer software such as MS-Excel, MS-Word and MS-Outlook.
Good written and verbal English language communication skills
Ability to work effectively with colleagues, seniors, team members and clients.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Ability to independently produce engineering drawings to a high standard.
Ability to produce appropriate calculations, when necessary, in producing working drawings
