Job Title - Production Manager

Department - Pharmacy

Reports to - Division Head

Responsible for:

Production- planning – Plan the daily and weekly production schedule based on the details such as the pending orders for domestic and export, stock on hand, preparation status, last 6 months sales, etc

Ensure Overall compliance of production activities

Monitoring the overall production related activities such as sanitization of packing materials and production things, monitoring of clean rooms, bulk manufacturing, filtration and filling process, steam and dry heat sterilization, in process and final checking, packing, finished goods storage and shipping process.

Production man power planning to achieve the target

Reduce the rejection rate and improve the yield

Takes control over the incoming Raw material, packing material and stock maintenance depends on schedule and marketing forecast.

Responsible for maintaining the inventory ratio at the rate of below 3.1%.

Follow up with suppliers to get the material on time so as to avoid production delays.

Follow up and track the invoices, material and shipment of inward material with support of Material controller.

Ensuring overall training of the production staffs with respect to production related process.

Perform the internal quality audit for other division as per audit schedule as auditor, and also attending the internal and external quality audit for our division as auditee.

Co - ordinate with QA Manager for taking any corrective action related to production, quality and customer service.

Coordinate with QA manager for approving the vendors.

Authority For:

Cleanroom validation – ISO14644 part I, Part II and III

Packaging validation – ISO 11607 part I, Part II

Sterilizer validation ( Steam/dry heat) – 17655-I,

Cleaning validation – As per GMP

Media fill validation – ISO 13408

Visual inspection validation,

New equipment qualification & validation

Production process validation

Maintaining all production related documents, SOP and validation documents.

Approving all quality documents pertaining to production.

Co ordinate with R&D for introducing and developing new product, process related to production.

Scheduling production plan for new development product filling.
