Vmware Consultant

Netweb Technologies is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in cloud transformation and migration projects, particularly in VMware vSphere and Azure cloud services. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing large-scale multiple Cloud transformation and migration projects. This role requires a deep understanding of VMware environments and Azure VMware Solution migrations. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute large-scale Cloud Migrations, Integrations, and Transformations with VMware environments to Azure VMware Solution migrations.

Drive major IT projects, managing multiple priorities simultaneously, setting timelines, holding people accountable, and delivering projects on-time and on-budget.

Maintain knowledge of the latest developments in Azure/AWS and VMware products.

Plan and manage multiple stakeholders, including clients, offshore teams, and cross-functional teams, to deliver the required transformations.

Understand the infrastructure background of Virtualization, Cloud technologies, compute, storage, and Network.

Secondary Skills:

Strong communication skills with effective and efficient stakeholder management.

Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.

Experience working with tight deadlines and handling escalations.

Manage Governance, collate project status, and report regularly to the leadership team.

Conduct weekly project/program reviews and reporting to internal stakeholders.

Track and report schedule and cost variances across projects.

Identify issues, risks, and track them until closure or mitigation/resolution for all cloud transformation projects.

Certifications (Good to have):

Agile Management

PRINCE2/PMP (Preferred)

Any other program management certifications

Good Understanding of Key Technologies (Good to have):

ADO or any project management tools

Azure Cloud

Database

Networking

Virtualization

Public Cloud, etc.

Educational Qualification:

BCA/MCA/BE/B.Tech or equivalent.
