ETL Support Engineer

Position: ETL Support Engineer - (Level 1)

Responsibilities

Must be able to…

Provide ongoing support for the existing ETL processes, procedures, as well as the ability to to make small code changes as needed

Develop an effective working relationship with Data Engineers, Quality Analyst, Database Administrators, and others in ensuring the data processing is meeting the defined SLA in production.

Demonstrate the ability to understand job schedules and inter dependencies

Strong work experience with SQL, Snowflake, DBT, Azure.

Diagnose and resolve ETL job failures

Any programming background with Python, java, or other programming languages.

Should be able Participate in ETL Operations 24x7 support on-call rotational shifts

Able to escalate the issues to next level of support team members in case not able to understand/ resolve it.

Able to take ownership of the activities during shift.

Able to clearly communicate the support issues to Data Engineering teams in US or India.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Minimum/Essential Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree with 2 to 5 years of experience with a ETL tools – DBT, Informatica, good knowledge of relational database management system and principles.

Experience with Snowflake, Azure, ServiceNow and MS office products.

Advance knowledge in SQL.

Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
