Job Role: Learning Consultant (Permanent Role)

Experience: 5+ years of experience in Learning consulting.

Role and Responsibilities:

The role of a Learning Consultant is to utilize knowledge of adult learning and learning sciences and apply learning design standards, so client receives optimum results from investments in learning solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Review the business objectives of a learning request

• Validate the request addresses a real learning need

• Educate and coach on leading practices

• Support the learning needs analysis (LNA) by gathering additional data (e.g.: audience analysis, task analysis, learning activity reports, learner and facilitator feedback, etc.)

• Evaluate preliminary learning solution ideas and offer additional input for the learning design concept

• Support the learning design process by applying design thinking, leading practices, and experience with similar learning solutions

• Confirm the budget is sufficient for designing, developing, and deploying an effective learning solution

• Assess capabilities of learning solution providers (vendors), identify alternative vendors, assist in vendor selection, and liaise between client and vendor when necessary

• Suggest measurement strategy that demonstrates business impact of the learning solution

• Manage project quality and support continuous improvement process

• Collaborate across Client learning teams & vendors

• Acting as a connector to key initiatives

• Supporting client in realizing strategic objectives e.g. Increasing MSP engagement
