To support the “General Manager – Overseas Business” in winning the business globally and execute the business of Soft trims and NVH components for OEM’s with Program deliverables, timeline adherence & overall customer satisfaction.

Overall Responsibilities

for Business Development in overseas geographies

for RFQ & ECN handling, preparation of Quotations/ Proposals, Price discussions

to end project management from planning, scheduling & monitoring all in house as well as outsource activities and final execution from development to dispatch within the time-line considering the cost and quality parameters.

interaction with Customers and CFT (Marketing, Design, Development, Quality, Purchase, Production, SCM) to provide optimal solution as per technical and commercial specifications

timely availability of FTG, RM & BOP to facilitate the smooth execution of the project by managing Suppliers.

Customer Management

Window person for Overseas Customers to communicate project related technical & commercial information to internal CFT. Willing to travel extensively, when needed.

Co-ordination with CFT and feedback to Customer.

track of cost, time and quality deliverables.

Supporting Supplier nomination & Tooling development.

Preparation of BOM and process identification with CFT / engineering team

Program Management

Lead and manage various aspects of Product Development including Technical presentations, Product costing, Concept design, Specifications, Testing & Validation, Launch support and Product Quality.

to time-line set by the OEMs and preparation accordingly.

the PMS and the time-lines along with internal CFT and ensure timely completion of programs.

Documents

Lead Generation and Development

handling, feasibility study, Design & Specifications Reviews, Technical discussions.

ECN monitoring, Program Management & Control documents

costing, Internal Costing, Tool Makers Cost analysis

Qualifications

BE / BTech (Preferably MBA)

5 to 12 years of experience

Strong verbal or written communication skills

Excellent command over English / Foreign language
