Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Kochi as a Facade Designer. As a Facade Designer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing all the aspects of facade design projects, from conceptual development through project completion. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring that all projects are completed on-time, within budget, and to a high-quality standard.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Responsible for preparing facade shop drawings, facade fabrication drawings, and cutting lists.

Coordinate with client consultants such as architects and structural engineers to determine the best facade design outcomes.

Lead projects internally with the respective team to ensure deliverables are issued to the client.

Proficiency in AutoCAD software is a must.

Hands-on experience with facades such as curtain walling, roof cladding, rainscreen, and other cladding types.

Should have an excellent understanding of all basic facade design principles and exceptional knowledge of various cladding materials.

Ability to independently manage projects and take responsibility.

Ability to collaborate with professionals within the building industry, including clients, architects, designers, contractors, and manufacturers.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree/Diploma in a relevant field (Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.).

Minimum 2 to 10 years experience in facade design activities.

Extensive familiarity with facade systems, facade design, and fabrication/manufacturing processes.

Knowledge of relevant international standards and codes for facades and building services.

Excellent communication skills.
