CoE’s are our engines of innovation and growth. The IP and Solutions team will drive and enable the platform strategy for our Energy and Water business solutions with a focus on creating repeatable and scalable solutions while retaining knowledge and IP. The IP and Solutions team will be responsible for developing and scaling the solutions leveraging the most relevant and fit for purpose digital technologies.

Role Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Cloud Centre of Excellence (CoE) within our Digital business, to build and lead our offshore solution delivery capability and excellence. As a Cloud Engineering Solutions Delivery leader, you will develop cloud solutions capability at offshore and ensure successful delivery of projects and solutions. You will be responsible for mentoring team members, collaborating and contributing to presales activities.

Our Cloud CoE areas of focus include Azure App services, APIs, Cloud Integration services, Database, security, containers. These are expected to grow into further areas in the future. You will have end to end responsibility of building solution delivery capability in these areas.

You will work closely with onsite cloud architects, account managers and other CoE teams for delivery of POC, client deliverables and pre-sales activities. While we remain technology and product agnostic, our preference is that candidates have strong Microsoft Cloud stack relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

The role will report to the UK Cloud CoE Leader and will be primarily responsible for:

Capability Building – Ownership of new Hires across all bands including graduate programs

CoE building and mentorship of 50+ team size at all levels

End to End ownership of technical solution and delivery involving all areas of Cloud Engineering

Pre-sales support including bid responses, client pitches and PoC preparations

Collaboration across the wider Enzen business, effectively connecting Enzen capability with customer opportunity as well as influencing strategic direction, propositions, and capability internally.

Advocating for cloud-native best practices and staying abreast of the latest advancements in the cloud ecosystem.

Closely working with onsite Cloud leads on new and existing opportunities

Desired Experience

15+ years in managing the team with more than 5 years in Cloud with any hyperscale’s like Azure and AWS

10+ years on Microsoft tech stack with .NET.

Proven track record of delivery across Cloud for IaaS, PaaS and SaaS

Managing team of 25+ members including graduates

Collaborating on RFP and bid responses.

Familiarity on Modernization of on premises applications

Experience on Devops with tools like Azure Devops and Jenkins

Proficiency in Agile methodologies, DevOps practices and experience of Agile project management tools, including e.g. Jira, Azure Boards or Kanban.

Proven communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with senior customers and internally across all levels of the organization.

Familiarity with Docker containers.

Problem-solving and analytical mindset with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Desired Education

Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

Azure/AWS certifications
