BIM Modeler

Job Role

To work as part of our Building Services team for WSP USA in WSP India CRC to provide CAD/BIM support to engineering projects. As a BIM Modeler - Building Technology System, job responsibilities may include:

Create detailed 3D BIM models of BTS systems, including Telecommunications, Security systems, Audiovisual, Network & Nurse call System, using software like Revit, AutoCAD, or specialized BIM tools.

Produce accurate and detailed drawings, schematics, and specifications for ICT systems based on the BIM models.

Work closely with USA office to ensure required Design & BIM standards are followed in the CRC Team.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate ICT systems seamlessly within the overall building design. Ensure that ICT components do not clash with other building systems.

Perform regular quality checks on BIM models and documentation to maintain accuracy, consistency, and integrity. Verify that ICT designs meet the project requirements and client expectations.

Mandatory Skills:

Expert in BIM Software (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).

BIM modelling concepts & procedures.

Experience of working on modelling, coordination and managing of International Projects.

Knowledge of Revit Model Set-up and Sheet set-up.

Basic design knowledge of ICT system (Telecom, Security, AV, Network and Nurse call system).

Experience to create equipment schedules and quantity.

Experience in Parametric Family Creation.

Knowledge of Bluebeam Revu.

Working experience in BIM360.

2D detailing and drafting in Revit.
