Role & Responsibility

Positions exists to develop and maintain healthy and mutually symbiotic relations among Suzlon and all the pertinent stakeholders and leverage this relationship for the advancement of the business interests of the Organization

Responsibilities:

Architecture the PR strategy

Study the socio-political legal milieu of the country

Examine the company's operations in view of sites, plants and geographical spread

Work out the PR strategy in view of the Company's Business Plans

2. Media Relations and Agency Management

Get relevant output from the PR agency Peruse the media space of the company in the country

Orchestrate a media strategy and approach;

Researching, distributing and writing the press releases to targeted media

Liaisoning with the key spokespersons

liaising with and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organizations, often via telephone and email;

organizing events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and FAM tours Media Relations and Meetings

3. Internal PR work management

Preparation of handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programs;

devising and coordinating photo opportunities;

maintaining and updating information on the organization's website;

sourcing and managing speaking and sponsorship opportunities; writing and editing in-house magazines, case studies, speeches, articles and annual reports;

preparing and supervising the production of publicity

commissioning market research;

4. Thought Leadership

Establish the company as an industry thought leader through creating TL opportunities, understanding the industry landscape, creating a TL strategy and a TL calendar.

Drive executive visibility through content and speaking engagements as per the TL calendar

Creating content in support of the PR strategy, Media Relations, internal PR work etc.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to produce thought-provoking content.

• Identify relevant industry conferences and events to secure speaking opportunities

• Organize and participate in webinars addressing key industry challenges.

• Lead research projects on emerging trends and technologies

• Write articles for reputable industry publications.

• Cultivate relationships with key influencers in the industry.

• Leverage networking opportunities to share the company’s perspectives.

• Maintain an active and influential presence on professional social media platforms.

5.Crisis Management

Managing issues and crisis communication for the group. Network with Plant heads & OMS / Project heads along with Legal to keep a tab on probable crisis situations arising at the work place and work out the PR strategy to mitigate the crisis

Implement the strategy share outcome with management

6. Content

Content writing and management for:

Updating Company Factsheet; Press Releases; Media Statements; Speeches; Case Studies; Authored Articles; Media Q&A; Annual Report Content; Internal Mailers; Social Media posts; Briefing Books; Presentations; In- house Magazine; Marketing Collaterals
