Hellas Construction, Inc., The #1 Sports Construction company in North America, is seeking a Project Administrator to support our Tampa, FL operations. This is a great opportunity for a highly organized and detail oriented administrative professional to join a Nationwide Sports Construction Company. The Project Administrator is a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing the administrative aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating various project activities, managing documentation, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

Assist in the coordination of construction projects from initiation to completion.

Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate project activities.

Maintain project documentation, including submittals, contracts, permits, drawings, and specifications, and close outs.

Organize and categorize project documents in a centralized filing system.

Track and ensure proper approvals/signatures on project documentation.

Assist with procurement activities, including obtaining quotes, processing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries.

Maintain records of material and equipment purchases, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Maintain project financials, enter purchase orders, subcontracts, change orders, billings.

Monitor costs that are hitting the jobs to ensure projects stay within budget.

Provide general administrative support to project teams, including photocopying, scanning, filing, and data entry.

Assist other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and experience in a related field preferred.

ODP (Owner Direct Purchase) experience ideal.

Proven experience in construction project administration or a similar role.

Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Knowledge of construction practices, terminology, and regulatory requirements.

We are only able to accept candidates who have the ability to work in the US without sponsorship at any time now or in the future. Travel may be required. New hire training and onboarding will be performed at our Austin, Texas Corporate offices.

Salary will be commensurate based on previous experience. Company Description
