What you will do

This position exists within the Category Management team of Clarios.

The Market Intelligence Analyst will play a valuable role in building strong relationships with Clarios stakeholders and aftermarket customers by providing strategic, consultative guidance through consumer, industry and market data intelligence. This individual will deliver quality data analysis and be able to synthesize multiple data sources to generate insights and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.

How you will do it

Monitor and map the battery market by customer, technology, competitor trends to assess their potential impact on the business and Clarios competitive position

Utilize sales, industry, and market research data to maintain and identify business trends and opportunities

Analyze and interpret consumer, industry and sales data into actionable insights

Collect information for and maintain information for market reporting

Provide support to category management team for line reviews, customer presentations and internal projects

Multi-task between projects and reporting/analytics with ability to adjust priorities based on opportunities/needs

Support internal and external account teams with unbiased recommendations based on knowledge of the market, industry, consumer and customer

Accurately maintain consumer, market and industry data and research

Accurately maintain and process competitive pricing

Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for all tasks, projects and responsibilities

Perform projects and analysis as needed

What we look for

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

Minimum 3 years analytical experience

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI

Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage time and deliver effectively in a fast-moving environment while handling multiple responsibilities

Demonstrated ability to influence others through written and verbal communication

Proven ability to work with data from multiple sources, interpret data and turn into actionable insight

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Travel up to 10% (domestic only)

Delta Bronze certification

Category Management Association certification

Automotive aftermarket, Mass merchant market, or battery market experience preferred

This position will be hybrid, working out of Clarios' Glendale, Wisconsin corporate headquarters
