We are searching for a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This includes recruiting for various positions within the company, responding to unemployment claims, ensuring compliance with EEOC and OSHA guidelines, and handling employee relations and disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage recruitment processes for all positions within the company, both locally and out-of-town for management positions.

• Conduct reference checks and driver's license investigations for all final applicants.

• Responsible for evaluating and reviewing tests for Manager Trainees.

• Respond to all unemployment claims promptly to meet all deadlines.

• Handle all employee accident reports and conduct internal investigations as needed.

• Ensure compliance with EEOC guidelines and handle all EEOC cases that are filed against the company.

• Ensure the company operates within OSHA guidelines.

• Advise department supervisors on disciplinary matters and participate in counseling sessions as requested.

• Handle all DOT regulations, maintain and update necessary files, and conduct monthly audits to ensure compliance.

• Assist in the preparation of formal written warnings and complete training of supervisors in company policies and procedures on discipline.

Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a dedicated Human Resources role, preferably in a managerial position

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now is required

• Knowledge and understanding of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is essential

• Experience with Ceridian and HRMS systems is beneficial

• Familiarity with About Time software would be advantageous

• Must demonstrate strong skills in Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration

• Comprehensive understanding of Compliance standards in HR practices is necessary

• Must possess advanced skills in Employee Relations

• Experience in Disciplining Employees in a professional and ethical manner is crucial

• Proficiency in Counseling Employees and providing guidance is required

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field is preferred

• Excellent communication, leadership and decision-making skills are essential

• Must have strong problem-solving abilities and negotiation skills

• The ability to handle confidential information with discretion is necessary

• Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred
