Associate Attorney

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Attorney for our client, a well-established law firm in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience. Some insurance defense experience required as well as casualty and general liability.

Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload from inception to resolution.

Conduct legal research, analysis and draft legal documents.

Conduct depositions, draft and argue motions, and attend court hearings.

Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurers.

Participate in firm marketing and business development activities.

Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to develop case strategies.

Requirements:

J.D. from an accredited law school.

Admission to the Pennsylvania bar.

2-5 years of experience in insurance defense, casualty and/or general liability, but will highly consider other areas of practice as well.

Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Company Description
