Tire Service Technician - Truck Driver

Job Description: Appalachian Race Tire LLC is looking for a delivery driver for our racetrack tire service program.

Responsibilities:

Organize & manage "hands on" with the tire service & warehouse team the & loading, transport, and unloading of tires to and from @ ten specific racetrack locations in the southeast US multiple times annually.

Supervise and mange hands on with the tire service team the at track tire service area setup & tear down of tire mounting and balancing equipment.

During non-race weeks i.e., "warehouse time" - responsibilities are the loading, unloading, & warehousing of race tires under the leadership of the warehouse manager.

Requirements and Skills:

A Class “A” CDL.

A clean driving record and the ability to travel for a few days to a few weeks at a time.

The desire and ability to complete very physical work both outside at the track and in the Maryville warehouse.

The ability to join the service team and participate in the at track tire service including dismounting mounting & balancing of race tires is a plus.

The ability to interact with race tire customers at the track and process tire sale paperwork a plus.

Basic computer skills a plus.

Path to "team leadership and trackside service management" available for qualified candidates.

Experience in or knowledge of automobile circuit racing a plus.

Warehouse compensation is hourly & at track compensation is daily - both based on skills, experience, and driving record.

Typical race event workweek hours are tire warehouse responsibilities & loadout Tuesday, travel Wednesday, Track duty Thursday – thru – Saturday, travel home Sunday.

Non race event workweeks are M-F 8am to 5pm warehouse responsibilities.

We provide late model semi-tractor and box trucks for racetrack services.

Hotel and daily per diem are also provided for at track days.
