Business Systems Analyst

Job Description

We are in search of a proficient Business Systems Analyst to be part of our team, located in Neptune, New Jersey. The primary role will involve configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our IT systems. This role is specifically focused on PeopleSoft HRIS and the enhancement of user experience and streamlining IT processes. The position offers an exciting opportunity for those with a background in IT PeopleSoft Systems.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the development of user/business requirements, converting them into system technical requirements, and establishing project work teams.

• Independently troubleshooting all payroll technical issues, collaborating with the PeopleSoft technical team as needed.

• Delivering custom report development and providing standard reports to clients.

• Acquiring and retaining in-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft Time and Labor rules, table structure, and Time Admin processing to effectively manage and resolve rule inconsistencies and incorrect calculations.

• Utilizing PeopleSoft Query, SQL, XML Publisher, and Connected Queries to produce reports.

• Implementing Atlassian Jira, Business systems, Confluence, Database, EO/IR systems, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Business Requirement Document, Design, Diagram, and PeopleSoft Applications to facilitate effective system management.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and effective problem resolution.

• Ensuring system performance is optimized and any issues are promptly addressed and resolved.

• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure the IT systems are current and effective.

• Providing technical support and guidance to team members and other stakeholders as needed.• Must have substantial experience in the role of Business Systems Analyst

• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira and Confluence is required

• Must have a strong understanding of Business systems

• Experience with Database management and EO/IR systems is necessary

• Proven experience in AB Testing and Agile Scrum methodologies

• Ability to create detailed Business Requirement Documents

• Strong skills in Design and Diagram creation

• Prior experience with PeopleSoft Application is a plus

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
