Bartender (Part-Time)

Bunker (Heritage Hospitality), located in The Duncan in West Town, is looking to hire 1 part-time bartender.

Responsibilities

Serve a selection of cocktails, spirits, beer, seltzer, cider, wine, non-alcoholic, & food options in accordance with Heritage Hospitality’s standards and recipes.

Maintain complete understanding of all offerings.

Manage flow of guests in the work area.

Check identification of guests to verify legal drinking age.

Entering items into Square point-of-sale system.

Cash & card handling.

Ensure a clean & organized work area.

Monitoring & stocking of bar inventory.

Opening & closing of work area.

Perform side work as needed.

Requirements

Our ideal candidates will have a hospitality driven mindset with a welcoming disposition.

At least 1 year experience working as a bartender in a cocktail-focused environment is required.

Understanding of cocktails, spirits, beer, seltzer, cider, wine, and non-alcoholic categories.

Able to comfortably be on feet for the duration of the shift.

Able to reach, bend, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.

Must demonstrate strong communication, reliability, honesty, and integrity.

Must be comfortable working solo & as a team in the work area.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must possess a valid BASSET & Food Handler certification.

Must be able to communicate and write in English. Spanish is a plus.

Availability

Friday & Saturday availability is required.

Potential to pick up shifts.

Compensation

$9.48/hr + gratuity
