$18.50-$19.10/hr.

About the Correctional Officer Duties:

Safe and humane management of prisoners

Interacting with prisoners to aid in rehabilitation programs

Applying rules in a consistent and fair manner

Monitoring the integrity of perimeter, locks, ventilation, etc.

Contacting center operations and requesting personnel in the event of an emergency

Overseeing inmate and overseeing prisoner transport

Restraining inmates when necessary

Recognizing volatile situations and defusing where possible

Correctional Officer Requirements:

Must be 21 years or older
