Junior Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist

Position Overview As the Junior Loan Servicing Specialist at Lakeland Bank you will book loans, loan check-backs, process loan payoffs and payments, file maintenance on loans, and prepare loans for scanning and filing.

You will be a liaison between Branches, Customers, and Loan Officers.

Key Responsibilities: * Book new loans - review all signed loan documentations and upload new loans through the Laser Pro interface program to the Fiserv System.

Follow up with branches and Loan Officers for missing or incorrect loan information, process TMS transactions.

* Process payoff checks, including preparing loan and general ledge tickets; paid loan sheets.

* Interact with Branches via emails and Salesforce to research and solve loan problems.

* File maintenance on loans - updating pending items such as titles, missing documentation, attaching ACH's for payments.

* Review and validate interest rate changes on loans to the Notes and make changes as necessary * Load Auto loans with PA titles into the Vintek System to track our lien recordings in PA.

* Check back previous day's booked loans, modifications, increases, conversions, TMS transactions * Make changes to loan accounts per Modification Agreements.

* Send letters to HELOC borrowers notifying of upcoming expired draw periods * Send out loan pending list to Branches and follow up on missing loan documentation * Prepare Loan Folders for -scanning, separate and index in imaging system * Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Skills Required * High school diploma * 12 months of loan servicing experience or related administrative experience.

* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft office; Excel and Microsoft Word.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customer in a professional friendly manner.

* Exceptional phone etiquette.

* Proficient knowledge of basic math * Must be bondable.
