Location: Tracy, CA *No relocation offered
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm or 2pm-10:30pm (must be flexible)
Job Description:
This role focuses on repair, modification, and developmental support for assigned tasks, alongside other Maintenance duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager Engineer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete daily assigned checklist promptly (1st priority).
Ensure timely completion of all work orders, communicating any issues or delays to the manager.
Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical equipment problems.
Assist with various work orders as instructed.
Support production to meet standards and requirements.
Contribute to plant-wide preventive maintenance efforts.
Verify equipment functionality post-repair.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in additional maintenance repairs.
Submit required reports punctually.
Adhere to safety, EEOC, and OSHA policies.
Maintain a clean work area.
Uphold material and work quality standards.
Initiate Corrective and Preventive Action when necessary.
Identify and document product/process-related issues.
Recommend solutions and verify their implementation.
Control nonconforming product processing until resolved.
Identify required parts for repair & work orders.
Properly manage and account for inventory parts.
Qualifications:
Ability to comprehend manuals and safety systems.
Detail-oriented and well-organized.
Proficiency in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Extensive electro-mechanical experience.
Own set of hand tools.
Self-motivated and adaptable.
Capable of switching tasks frequently.
Compliance with plant safety programs and company policies.
Commitment to LP-9000 and continuous improvement.
Ability to lift weights up to 50 pounds.
Competence in using a computer to access electronic resources.
Familiarity with CMMS Advance Maintenance Management System (AMMS) for reporting downtime, managing parts inventory, and requesting spare parts.
