Skills, and Abilities:

Possess a comprehensive understanding of the entire software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation. Familiarity with Agile and Iterative Development models is essential.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong creative problem-solving abilities.

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Proven track record of leading small to medium-sized projects and adapting to new languages and development methodologies.

Effective in collaborating with external contacts, fellow employees, managers, and department staff members.

Required Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in software or web application development, including proficiency in an object-oriented language.

Preferred Experience:

More than 5 years of experience with Gosu, SQL, Java, SOAP or RESTful web services, JavaScript, XML, Git, or similar version control/source code management tools.

1 or more years of experience in the insurance or financial industry.

Working towards the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation is desirable.
