Senior C# .NET Software Engineer / Trading Technology

Senior Software Engineers with expertise in creating high-quality software in C# or Java sought by a leading Quantitative Finance business.

The successful recruits will join a new office in central Connecticut, four days per week, designing and building a greenfield platform from the ground-up using modern paradigms such as Big Data and Machine Learning. The target platform will provide mission-critical functionality such as real-time position calculation, a new accounting platform, compliance and regulatory reporting, intraday risk, and a fully automated corporate action pipeline.

We seek a range of technology experience, an adaptable mindset with a desire to work with various business lines, whilst using modern software engineering techniques and excellent problem-solving ability.

Requirements

Creating high-quality software in an OO language, ideally C# or Java.

An appreciation of good software architecture, computer science fundamentals, data structures and CI/CD.

A genuine interest in software, and engineering skills to support its continual development within the business, with the intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn about the operations and trading space within Quantitative Finance.

Experience working with CI/CD Pipelines and orchestration tools, such as Jenkins, Bamboo and ArgoCD.

Desire to continually learn about new technologies, approaches, and systems, as well as the ability to work across multiple disciplines.

Financial Markets industry experience preferred but not essential, however Post Trade experience in a Systematic Hedge Fund or Proprietary Trading environment would be of great interest.
