A public services organization in NJ is currently seeking a new Contracts Analyst for a promising Remote opportunity within their Operations/Compliance Department. In this role, the Contracts Analyst will be responsible for the review of a high volume of annual reports, including e comparative job analysis, document review and notifications to companies to ensure compliance.
Responsibilities:
The Contracts Analyst will:
Facilitate the department's efforts to identify and notify all incentive recipients required to submit an annual report and an annual tax credit application
Track the timely receipt of the annual report and work with the clients to notice recipients if an annual award is forfeited/defaulted
Perform initial cursory review of a high volume of incentive annual reports to ensure all documentation has been submitted
Work with recipients and its representatives to collect required documents to complete an annual review and a modification to an existing incentive agreement
Prepare emails/letters/memos/amendment templates to recipients and make follow up contact as needed to ensure timely receipt
Perform peer review of all incentive customer relationship folders to ensure compliance with the Department's file structure policy
Ensure annual reports are certified, where necessary; update project data and notify recipients of certified awards
Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned
Qualifications:
2+ years of work experience in Business Finance, Insurance, Economic Development, or related field
Associate's Degree and/or equivalent professional experience in Business, Finance, Economic Development, Insurance, or related field
Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Adobe
Microsoft Office proficient (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
Solid problem solving and time management skills
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
