Chemical Process Engineer

Chemical Process Engineer Core Responsibilities:

Monitor and enhance the performance of up to 4 Production Processes.

Interpret and quickly grasp Reaction Chemistry fundamentals.

Identify and implement continuous improvements to address production issues.

Conduct thorough investigations into various production-related matters.

Generate and implement corrective actions.

Manage Process Improvement Projects effectively.

Correlate Final Product Quality with Production Processing Data.

Assist in training Plant Supervisors and Operators.

Track Production Yields and perform Mass Balances.

Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Statistical Quality Control (SQC) tools.

Collaborate with cross-functional departments and stakeholders.

Chemical Process Engineer Job Requirements:

Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering or related field.

5+ years of Manufacturing Experience in an Engineering Role.

Proficiency in root cause problem solving (3+ years).

Experience with MOC/CAPA process (2+ years).

Project Management experience coordinating between departments (2+ years).

Ability to conduct investigations and quickly learn common Unit Operations.

ISO9001 / EFfCI / GMP Production Experience.

Chemical Process Engineer Preferred Education and Experience:

Experience in writing/revising SOPs.

Proficiency in SPC/SQC.

Familiarity with exothermic reactions, vacuum dryers, and powder handling/packaging operations.

Mechanical aptitude.

Working experience with various Reaction Chemistries and Unit Operations.
