As a data architect, you'll be a key member to the overall IT organization and be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of robust data architecture solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Analytics highly preferred

8+ years of experience in data engineering with at least 2 years in data architecture

Proven experience delivering complex

Able to gather and understand business requirements, translate them into scalable data solutions, and ensure the integrity, availability, and security of their data assets

Experience designing and implementing data solutions like MDMs, EDW, Data lakes in a cloud environment preferably on Azure

Proven expertise in data modeling, database design, and database management systems

Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and security best practices

Experience with both relational and non-relational databases

Proficiency in data integration tools and techniques

Good communication and interpersonal experience

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a comprehensive data architecture that aligns with the business goals and objectives

Design scalable and efficient data models, ensuring optimal performance and flexibility

Define and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security

Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and enforce data standards and best practices

Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of database management systems

Provide expertise in relational and non-relational databases, optimizing performance and ensuring data accessibility

Lead the design and implementation of data integration solutions, ensuring seamless flow of information across the organization

Collaborate with ETL developers to create efficient and scalable data pipelines

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver solutions

Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and provide guidance on data-related matters
