We are looking for dedicated PC Technicians for a ONE month contract to help our client open a brand new office and set up all workstations. This role is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity where you will be expected to handle tasks related to computer hardware, operating systems, and configuration management. This will be a physical job, running wires, setting up desktops, climbing under desks to connect, etc.

You will also be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues and managing the Google Suite.

Reliability is VITAL for this role, so we are interested in candidates that are able to stay with the project until it is complete.

Must Be in or near MILWAUKEE WISCONSIN due to the nature of the work.

Schedule Monday - Friday 8-5pm

Start date 6/20/24 (tentative)

Pay Range $24-$27.50 DOE

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain computer systems and networks within the organization

• Set up computer systems, install and configure hardware, and diagnose hardware/software faults

• Resolve technical issues related to the network cable routing

• Handle the setup and management of workstations, including the connection and setup of monitors

• Support the operation of Google meet and chrome books

• Collaborate with the digital business & transformation team to provide tech support and troubleshooting

• Configure and manage the Google Suite and other related tools

• Ensure all technical operations adhere to compliance standards

• Monitor and maintain technology to ensure optimal performance and system health

Requirements

• Proficiency in managing and maintaining computer hardware

• Experience in configuration management, ensuring system security and performance

• Knowledge of Google+ for creating and maintaining online presence

• Good troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues

• Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues in a clear, non-technical manner

• Strong organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• No minimum years of experience required, open to fresh graduates and career shifters

• Able to lift 50lb

Moving/Laying in a prone position utilizing knee support.
