Our well-known retail client is seeking an enterprise merchandising product manager to join their team on a long-term W2 contract. This role will sit on the digital merchandising team to lead the development and execution of their enterprise merchandising software platform. The ideal candidates will be able to utilize their skills in product strategy, roadmap planning, and cross-functional collaboration to drive the success of their solutions.

This position is onsite 5 days a week at their Irving, TX headquarters. This is a long-term W2 contract. All McKinley roles offer a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on market needs, customer feedback, and business goals

Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic objectives

Lead the development of product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and ensure clear communication and alignment across teams

Manage and groom the product backlog, and prioritize decisions based on the value to be delivered

Work closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to drive the execution of the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and updates

Gather and analyze market data, competitive intelligence, and customer insights to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation

Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly experiences

Act as a subject matter expert on enterprise merchandising software, providing guidance and support to sales, marketing, and customer success teams as needed

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the success and impact of product initiatives, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization and improvement

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Three to five years of progressive experience in product management roles, preferably with a focus on enterprise software solutions and merchandising retail technology

Proven track record of successfully managing and launching software products or features from concept to delivery

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive decision-making and prioritize initiatives

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience working in Agile development environments

Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms
