We are hiring for multiple positions in this role. We are recruiting part-time and full-time positions for paralegals.
This position will be on-site [potential for 1x a week remote] located in our San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Irvine office.
Role Description
The paralegal will support our attorneys in representing clients at every stage of employment litigation, worker’s compensation, or business litigation. The paralegal will also support attorneys in our transaction practice. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent attention to detail, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities
Preparing and tracking subpoenas
Propounding and responding to written discovery
Reviewing and summarizing medical and employment records
Analyzing and summarizing medical records, deposition transcripts, answers to interrogatories, and other material
Organizing and maintaining documents in paper and our electronic filing system.
Inputting updates into our case management system
Preparing for trial by organizing exhibits and performing other tasks.
Communicating with clients, court staff, and third parties
Researching the law associated with each case.
Preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, case evaluation summaries, demand letters, etc.
Bachelor’s degree required
Familiarity with case management systems, understanding of Clio case management software a plus
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills; strong attention to detail
Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Ability to work well independently, as well as effectively within a team in a fast-paced litigation environment
Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality
Solid organizational skills
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the collection and organization of documents and information from various cases at the firm. This candidate should feel comfortable relaying messages between various groups and keeping all documents important to the cases they are working on organized.
Review and draft routine legal documents
Create and maintain case files
Facilitate the meeting of attorney's deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders
Conduct legal research
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate
Experience in CA Labor & Employment (Preferred)
Minimuim of 2 years of Paralegal experience, preferably experience in employment law and/or worker’s compensation
