On-Site Business Manager

Financial Talent Group has partnered with a top client to source top talent for their Business Manager position within the accounting team. If you have a heart for education and love the schedule of K-12 school, this role is for you! The Business Manager will serve as the conduent between department heads, committees, board of directors and reports directly to the VP of Operations. The Business Manager will process Accounts Receivable, Reconcile Credit Cards, assist with purchasing, hold monthly budget meetings with department heads to ensure the budget is on target, serving as point of contact for audits and preparing financial reports as required. It is required the ideal Business Manager will have proficiency with QuickBooks Online, possess a bachelor’s degree, three or more years of bookkeeping experience, highly organized and experience supporting committee’s and board of directors. What you will be doing as the Business Manager:

The Business Manager position requires a full-time commitment to execute finance and business functions to support the leadership team in achieving the strategic objectives.

· Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, audit support, analyzing industry trends assessing

· Works with the VP of Operations in the daily operations of the company’s finance department- budgeting, training, and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.

Perform corporate credit card account reconciliations, receipt management, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards, conduct routine meetings with department heads, and assist with cash flow forecasting.

Perform occasional payroll processing duties

In conjunction with senior leadership, assist in creation of strategic business plans and budgets based on the analysis of the company’s status and financial forecasts.

Accounts Receivable processing

Assist with purchasing procedures

Monitor and track revenue payments

What you will need to be successful as the Business Manager:

3+ years of full cycle accounting experience

Bachelors degree (Area of emphasis does not matter)

Must be fluent in QuickBooks Online, Accounting procedures

Must be fluent in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.

Experience with a non-profit is preferred. Experience working with boards and committees is required
