Our Ideal Candidate:

Our System Administrator has an integral role in providing end-user and workstation support, administering our Office 365 tenant, and helping keep our server environments and applications up to date. The individual in this role would be relied upon to prioritize and execute helpdesk tickets and IT system projects while providing and improving end-user education and systems documentation. Additionally, beyond these core responsibilities, this position includes managing server monitoring notifications, IT inventory management, performing QA on internal IT Ops systems, and various other related tasks. OBB provides opportunities for training and certification programs as a part of our focus on professional development.

A strong candidate would have the following qualifications and skills:

Minimum of 1-3 years of IT Support / Systems Administration experience

Degree in a related technology field (Computer Science, MIS, etc.); or the combination of relevant experience and education

Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Active Directory

Office365 administration experience

Understanding of network systems (OSI model), router systems, firewall system, switches, and on-prem network infrastructure -- TCP/IP, UDP

Ability to methodically troubleshoot workstation hardware and software issues

Responsive to helpdesk tickets related to workstation hardware, software, and connectivity issues

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot issues with end-user with both hardware (such as desktops, laptops, monitors, phones) and device operating systems and productivity software

Proven ability to provide both in-person and remote support to end-users

Serve as an IT systems resource on projects as needed.

Accurately maintain equipment inventory management

Leverage vendor support as needed

Knowledge of SQL and refreshing SQL Server data in test environments

Perform QA on additions/modifications to IT Ops systems

Create system and end-user documentation and train users when necessary

Willing and eager to venture out of comfort zone and learn new things

Ability to interact professionally and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users verbally and in written form.

Exhibit strong organizational skills in daily tasks and within projects

Ability to follow directions, both high-level and explicit, with limited daily supervision

Successfully works in a team environment as well as autonomously

Is flexible, open-minded, and adaptable to changing business needs

Is plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends

Responsive and flexible to work off-hours and on-call hours as needed

Ability to pass a national criminal background check

Additional skills valued although not required in:

Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit

PowerShell / Batch Scripting

IT Cybersecurity Fundamentals

Experience with Microsoft Azure or other IaaS products

HIPAA Regulations and policies knowledge
