Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in Aerospace & Defense to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing mechanical components and systems for various products. The candidate must have experience with AutoCAD, ANSYS, and/or Creo. This is a permanent position located in Kansas City, KS.

The Opportunity:

- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for Aerospace & Defense products.

- Create and modify detailed drawings using AutoCAD, ANSYS, and Creo.

- Conduct mechanical analysis and simulations to ensure product performance and quality.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve mechanical design issues.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Participate in product testing and validation efforts.

- Provide technical support to manufacturing and production teams.

- Maintain project schedules and budgets.

What we are seeking:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design within the Aerospace & Defense industry.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ANSYS, and/or Creo.

- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals.

- Ability to conduct mechanical analysis and simulations.

- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Strong problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
