In this role, you get to wear many hats as a GIS (Geographic Information System) Analyst, Systems Engineer, Administrator, Technician, Developer, Cartographer and as a Market Development Planner for both domestic and international markets.

You will monitor and manage the enterprise GIS services and databases for both Little Caesars (LCE) and Olympia Development (ODM).

You will coordinate all data standards, processes, and workflow to ensure GIS data and services meet requirements.

You will also lead initiatives for new uses of GIS solutions and mobile location data across departments and entities.

You will provide spatial analysis, create and configure mapping apps, generate custom demographic reports and infographics, perform existing and new market analysis, and provide actionable insight to business units, franchisees and leadership using variety of mapping resources and data sources.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Manage and maintain all GIS servers and databases within IHI and work closely with key contacts within various IT departments.

• Oversee the production of reports, maps, applications, and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders.

• Develop methods to leverage GIS data for new applications.

• Serve as a technical expert on GIS subject matter in the development policies processes and guidance. This position is the internal technical expert for GIS assistance within IHI (Ilitch Holdings Inc.) umbrella of companies.

• Implement and provide ongoing support of GIS web maps and applications for both LCE and The District Detroit (ODM): including web access, reporting, mapping, live dashboards, and database integration.

• Support the continued development of The District Detroit by maintaining the Master Plan dashboard within The District Detroit GIS Portal and other application used by ownership, ODM leadership and colleagues.

• Maintain fluid integration of open-source and internal proprietary data used for critical decision making, including the Command Center, The District Detroit Masterplan and Little Caesars Market Development Apps.

• Identify and research feasibility of new opportunities for GIS and mass mobile location data and incorporate and implement new annual goals.

• Respond to end-user questions, inquiries, and ad-hoc requests.

• Work directly with end-users, including outside contractors, to evaluate solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, requests.

• Recommend and work on solutions to always ensure system availability.

• Collect, edit, and maintain data; ensure data is accurate, current, and complete through quality assurance procedures.

• Develop new, and enhance existing, datasets through various techniques such as data mining, process automation, workflow modifications, and business unit/franchisee collaboration.

• Research and perform statistical analysis on geographical data, as requested.

• Provide market development planning insights to support the Development and Real Estate teams for both domestic and international markets.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering Science, Geography, or related degree with a GIS major.

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience with GIS system integration or environment with business unit specifications, specific applications, including ESRI suite of software like ArcMap, ArcCatalog, ArcToolbox, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise (Server and portal), Business Analyst…etc.

• Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and other programming languages.

• Experience with Geodatabases, SDE, WebApp Builder, Experience Builder, Field Maps app, Collector App, Story Maps, Operations Dashboard, Mass Mobile Data, Google Maps, API, OpenStreetMap, etc.

• Strong project coordination, planning and overall management skills.

• Evidence of effective communication skills to enable interaction with other groups and be able to influence outcomes.

• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
