Software Engineer in Test

Pay rate range - $75/hr. to $80/hr. on W2

Job Requirements:

● Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field

● 4 to 8 years of SDET and testing experience

● Knowledge of Python/Perl Scripting or any scripting languages

● Ability to deal with ambiguous problems and think abstractly

● Ability to work with multiple products and understand the integration channel of the applications

● Knowledge of Internet/Web Technologies is a must

● Manage and deliver projects/platform changes to meet the business requirements

● Experience in working on Selenium, Sahi, or Microsoft Coded UI Tests

● Excellent coding skills in Java, Javascript or Python

● Good understanding of OOPS concepts

● Experience in designing and implementing continuous delivery platforms

● Experience in data models, database queries and knowledge on NoSQL platforms

● Experience in test automation and strategy design over distributed systems

● Experience on measuring effectiveness, coverage, and regression cost reduction, is a plus

● Good business sense and people management skills, is a plus

Job Description:

● Creating scalable, maintainable, and distributed test frameworks to make functional engineer life easier

● Design frameworks to measure the performance and load of the applications

● Mentor junior SDETs and coordinate with peer SDETs on deciding on test strategy and framework design

● Prevent defects through technical reviews on design and code

● Analyzing a complex software system and design strategy to test the system

● Drive test analysis through test suite code coverage and data analysis

● Design infrastructure on test environments and set best practices on test operations

● Interact with other engineers to fix issues on test framework and enhance the framework to support requested features
