Litigation Paralegal

Location: Irvine, CA

Pay Range: $90,000 - $115,000 annually, along with Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Time and Holidays, Healthcare, Dental and Vision Coverage, 401k

Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire, Hybrid

LHH is partnering with a reputable law firm in Irvine in seeking a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal with general civil litigation experience. This is a hybrid position with three days onsite. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational, communication, and research skills, along with a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Coordinating depositions, mediations, and client/witness meetings. Preparing deposition, mediation, and trial notebooks.

Conduct and manage E-Discovery

Coordinating and communicating with expert witnesses.

Preparing document-production logs, deposition summaries, motions, and discovery summaries.

Preparing Subpoenas.

Drafting standard discovery requests, objections, and responses.

Organizing and maintaining files through the litigation process.

Assisting with trial preparation and trial.

Qualifications:

An ABA-Approved paralegal certificate and a Bachelors degree are required.

A minimum of four years of paralegal work experience.

Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints, with a high degree of attention to detail.

Strong business writing skills, with the ability to prepare documents and proofread for context, grammar, and typographical or spelling errors.

Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively in person, in writing, and by telephone.

Experience with Trial Director (or other trial-presentation software) and/or e-discovery review tools is a plus.
