As a business systems analyst (BSA), you will be the liaison between different teams such as developers, testers, project managers, and business stakeholders. As the liaison between external and internal teams, you must have strong written and oral communication. The BSA will be responsible for gathering requirements and then creating a source to target map. The BSA needs to have strong SQL skills to be able to analyze data efficiently.

Responsibilities:
Liaison between the business, developers, testers, and project managers
Responsible for the entire lifecycle of the project the BSA is assigned
Creating functional requirement document and source to target mapping (data mapping)
Excellent Data Analysis/Data Profiling/System Analysis skills
Analyze data with strong SQL skills, experience with SQL queries
Transforming data once collected
Minimum Qualifications:
5-10 years experience in enterprise environment
2-3 years experience in business analysis
2-3 years experience in systems analysis
2-3 years experience in data analysis
5-7 years experience writing complex queries in SQL
Experience gathering requirements
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Health Information Management, or a related field
