Cable Technician

Seeking experienced Access Control and Security Installers. Responsibilities include installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing access control/CCTV systems, as well as providing operation training. Duties encompass installing and programming end devices, running cable, and assisting with system verification and customer training. Candidates should be able to get to the worksite on Long Island, there they will travel to work site via company vehicle. This is a temp to perm role, successful candidates may convert to full-time employees.

Qualified applicants should have:

Working knowledge of CCTV installation and troubleshooting, Access Control, and Intrusion Systems.

Essential familiarity with AC/DC electronic theory, IP networks, and LAN/WAN setups.

Preferred experience with Fiber optic, CAT-5/6, and interpreting blueprints.

Necessary skills include strong teamwork, customer service, and operating test equipment.

Advantageous to have certifications or experience with various systems.

Must possess a clean driver’s license, basic hand tools, and capability to carry heavy loads and climb ladders.
